Tesco Delivery Pass

Tesco’s delivery pass service is named “delivery saver” and gives you the choice of two main options;

Midweek plans from £7.50 a month and anytime plans from £10.00 a month.

The four midweek plans (Tuesday to Thursday only)

Three month pay upfront – £27.00 one off payment.
Three month pay monthly – £9.00 per month.

Six month pay upfront – £45.00 one off payment.
Six month pay monthly – £7.50 per month.

The four anytime plans (Seven days delivery)

Three month pay upfront – £36.00 one off payment.
Three month pay monthly – £12.00 per month.

Six month pay upfront – £60.00 one off payment.
Six month pay monthly – £10.00 per month.

Your delivery saver will be ready for use on your next purchase instantly after you sign up.

You get priority access to the Tesco Christmas delivery slots which will be helpful in the busy period late December.

You can cancel your delivery saver account any time you wish to do so.

All of the Tesco plans have a minimum individual spend of £40.00 on your grocery shopping. You can also get free unlimited delivery on Tesco Direct purchases (minimum spend of £10.00) and Wine by the case as part of your delivery pass.

We look at some typical savings these delivery passes would enable you to get;

A Tesco grocery delivery slot can cost between £3.00 to £6.00 each so using the delivery pass for;

5 – off deliveries over a month could save you from £7.50 to £22.50 (based on the six month pay monthly plan).

10 – off deliveries over a month could save you from £22.50 to £52.50 (based on the six month pay monthly plan).

Some relevant rules worth mentioning are below but please see the official site for full terms and conditions prior to purchasing your new delivery pass.

You are allowed one delivery every day on the applicable days your account is valid for i.e. midweek only or anytime days.

Your membership plan will automatically renew at the end of your specified time period i.e. 3 or 6 months. You will get an email 7 days before the end of your delivery pass reminding you that your renewal is due soon and payment will be made.

You can stop future payments being charged at any time by cancelling your plan it you don’t want to continue with your membership. If you cancel within seven days of first registering and have not had any delivery pass orders sent out you will get a refund of your membership fee.

For the midweek plans you can still get delivery on Monday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday but normal delivery costs will be charged in addition.

You can switch between Tesco plans if another becomes more suitable to your needs, you simply need to go to “My Plan” from within your logged in account and follow the on screen instructions to change to a different delivery pass. You will then be changed to your newer plan at the end of your current subscription.

To get and use priority Christmas delivery slots you must be signed up before the 17th November. Tesco have advised that they will release the priority slots for members to book in late November 2013.

For deliveries on Tesco Direct and Wine by the case you will be sent an email within one week of first signing up with full offer details and eCoupons that you can use.
